Stall Holders Information
Set up time and unloading/loading:
Stall holders can begin to set up 1 hour before the market. Once the market is complete you will have 1 hour to pack up your remaining products. There is a large carpark out the front and you can park anywhere in this. If you have a helper with you you are able to promptly unload in front of the venue. Please do not begin bringing your products inside the venue until you have parked in the appropriate car spaces.
It is the stallholder’s responsibility to take unsold items with them. Please leave your stall area the way you found it.
No responsibility is taken by the organisers for theft, loss or damage (this also applies to large items). Stallholders are responsible for their own stall security and monies.
The stallholder is responsible for the safety of her/his own table/ stall, i.e. setting items up in a safe & secure manner to avoid accidents and incidents.
Stallholders can sell:
Quality second-hand goods and new goods relating to babies, toddlers, and kids. Stallholders cannot sell:
Anything unrelated to baby & kids and dangerous goods!
Damage to Buildings:
Nothing can be hung, stuck, tapped, glued, nailed, screwed or in any other way attached to, affixed or placed upon any wall, door, curtain or any other portion of the building. As this venue is a sports stadium we ask that you please put a cloth or sheet under your trestle table, boxes and/or anything else that may scratch the surface. When bringing your product in and out of the venue please do not scrape against the floor surface. Any damage done by the stall holder is the responsibility of the stall holder. Also please do not wear high heels into the venue
If the market is cancelled due to reasons of emergency, danger, weather conditions, disasters, safety, health concerns, or other reasons that are not in reasonable control of us then we will be unable to offer stall holders a refund
We shall not be responsible for the compliance by a stall holder with any By-law, Regulation, Act or Statute. There are guidelines about selling goods relating to children and babies. These guidelines can be found on the ACCC’s website(www.accc.gov.au) or by calling the ACCC on 1300 302 502. We accept no responsibility for any transaction entered into in the Market enclosure. Perth Baby and Childrens Market reserves the right to decide or arbitrate any dispute arising out of or in the course of the conduct of the Market. The Perth Baby and Childrens Market accepts no liability for the loss or damage of any kind suffered by any person who enters the Market area and all persons who enter the Market area do so at their own risk. The stall holder agrees to indemnify the Perth Baby and Childrens Market against all claims for damages or injury to the property or person of any persons in respect of any claim by any such person arising out of negligence on the part of the stall holder or his agents or servants.
Each stall holder can have 1 helper. Stickers will be given to you on the day with your business name or stall number
Competitions and Raffles:
These can be done if you have made prior arrangements with Perth Baby and Childrens Market. These will need to be drawn at the end of the day in front of a member of staff of Perth Baby and Childrens Market. This keeps it fair and also gives us the opportunity to post the winners on our facebook page
Pre loved items:
Please be aware that all items need to be in a clean and working manner. We will get a list of all of your large items and if these items are found to be damaged, missing parts, dangerous or not working the buyer will be eligible for a full refund.
If you are planning on selling car seats, you can only do so if it has not been involved in an accident. The Australian Government recommends that all car seats that have been in an accident should be discarded, as they are not safe anymore. Check date of manufacture – if it is older than 10 years it cannot be sold.
